3rd Shift Mold Technician
We are currently looking for a 3rd Shift Mold Technician for our client in the SW Metro. The hours for this position are 7:am-7:am M-W.
We are currently looking for a night shift Set-up Technician who has a can-do, will-learn, attitude. Our Set-up Technician role goes beyond the everyday production requirements of setting up and processing molds by offering the long-term career building skills that teach you how to perform screw and barrel change overs as well as preventative maintenance on presses and auxiliary equipment so you can advance.

Schedule: Full Time: Monday – Wednesday 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Sets/Changes molds and/or auxiliary equipment, trouble shoot, and cycle in presses in accordance with the set up instruction sheet to produce plastic components to customer specifications.
- Perform insert changes on injection molds.
- Evaluate the accuracy of existing process sheets and set up instructions and document process and/or set up instruction changes or, if necessary, create a new process sheet or set up instruction.
- Correct quality and cycle time deviations.
- Execute material handling functions as needed.
- Perform light maintenance on presses and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in the training and starting up of the press operators.
- Assist in the sampling of new and/or revised tools and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with setting-up and cycling-in of plastic injection molds or like experience.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions and to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Able to move between job functions in an efficient and well prioritized manner.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills along with strong judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve common goals
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 medical is a plus.
- Scientific molding/RJG experience is a plus.
