No, we are job recruiters serving the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries. We match qualified job seekers to companies looking to fill positions. Strom Minnesota does hire contract employment/project staffing/temp-to-perm positions – you may be paid by Strom Minnesota for your work, but you will work on-site at the company we match you to. For direct hire/direct placement positions, you will be paid by the company we match you to.
How do you find your applicants?
We source job seekers from a variety of different platforms – our website, social media, job boards, personal recommendations, networking, etc. Once we’ve been in touch with an interested candidate, they are added to our database.
Our company has been unsuccessfully to find people locally, what makes you think you will have luck?
We focus on traditional and non-traditional avenues. Our network of previous and current employees allows us to get the word out and locate individuals that may not even have resumes posted or be listed on job boards.
What is your screening process for job seekers?
First, we review a job seeker’s resume and contact references. We then conduct in-person and phone interviews, and follow-up with a traditional interview process. All offers of employment are conditional pending drug and background testing. We then connect job seekers to companies and facilitate onboarding and deployment.

We have a high placement rate, we have no trouble placing skilled individuals. We offer the option of health insurance and holiday pay (after a set amount of time).

We do not offer any training. We match companies with applicants based on their current skill set.
