Strom Engineering Minnesota is looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to work for our client company located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Position is on 1st shift 7:am-3:30pm M-F
Pay between: $18.00-25.00 hr. DOQ
SUMMARY
Sets up and operates CNC Press Brakes
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The Plant Manager may assign other duties.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to complete assigned tasks.
Sets up machine efficiently
Set up press brake to ensure maximum production.
Operates press brakes with attention to quality and production
Check to ensure all machines are set up to meet safety requirements
Ensures all data entered into company data collection system is accurate
Training machine operators and directing their work as needed
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Ensure that all ISO 9001 procedures relevant to the job are being followed
Uses dispatch display to determine which jobs to set up next, following company schedule
Identify and capture and record work instructions required to ensure the job operations are set up and run correctly and consistently
Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
