Strom Engineering Minnesota has an exciting new opening for a Facilities Project Manager position for an excellent company located in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area. Duties: * Responsible for supporting two manufacturing sites in Twin Cities, MN area. * Responsible for leading a team of four (4) including an Engineer and Technicians. * Serve as Project Manager and expert on key projects. * Lead and provide guidance for the planning and execution of facilities and equipment projects. * Manage activities leading to the successful execution of assigned projects. * Communicate and collaborate across functional and leadership teams to inform project status and risks, elevate issues, present recommendations and implement modifications or project plans. * Creates and maintains productive environment to enable the delivery of various facility services. * Empowers and oversees team to carry out operational responsibilities and works directly with team to carry out objectives. * Train, mentor and develop Quality Technicians and peers to be skilled in the application of Quality Tools and Systems. * Ensure compliance to OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Skills/Qualifications: * Education: BA / BS Degree in Engineering or Technology * Experience in Project Management in GMP industries (Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device) * 3+ years of experience providing work direction and leadership * Great communication and team building skills—ability to lead cross-functional teams * Ability to read and understand blueprints * Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems * Knowledgeable in Building Automation Systems * Working knowledge of security, maintenance operations and contract management * Strong verbal and written communications skills. * Must be PC proficient including in Microsoft Word.
