Strom Engineering Minnesota is looking for an applicant to work as a Scheduling Coordinator with our client company located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
1st Shift position: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M-F
Pay: $17-20.00 hr. DOQ
Reviews Outside Service Job Requirements Summary.
Confers with vendors to obtain service information such as lead-times and completion dates. Reconcile pricing and receiver discrepancies with accounting.
Selects services based upon vendors routed in the estimate.
Count parts and process purchase orders. Prepare packaging in a way to protect parts in transit.
Count and receive purchase orders. Forward parts to next process.
Maintain work instruction in the routing.
Discusses defective or unacceptable work with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
Requests company material certifications when required.
Issues hardware and packaging to jobs.
Cycle counts bags and hardware inventory.
Maintain daily routs for the truck driver. Load and unload trucks and forward to appropriate locations.
This job is responsible for supervising the truck driver.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift and hand jack experience.
Literate with computers.
Familiarity with plating, painting, machining and heat treat processes.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
