Strom Engineering of Minnesota has an exciting new opening for a Manufacturing Engineering with a great company located in the Twin Cities area. A minimum of 4+ years of experience is required. Duties: * Responsible for creating, documenting and communicating the manufacturing processes for all jobs. * Ensures that company has all necessary equipment, tooling, data and knowledge to manufacture all parts efficiently. * Evaluate, interpret and communicate customer specifications and requirements for new or revised parts. * Ensure all requirements for production, purchasing, sub-contract and inspection operations are adequately described. * Review, update and approve engineering process documentation as required. * Develop and maintenance of manufacturing process documentation. * Development, testing and implementation of manufacturing process improvements. * Meet production schedule requirements for engineering. * Design/create/requisition tooling and fixtures for production. * Create and maintain CNC programs. * Preview/review production processes. * Establish and maintain manufacturing processes to maximize efficiencies in material handling, product quality and thoughput. * Create/provide timely estimates for quotes. * Help to solve production problems. * Cost out jobs (with help from Accounting) to asses production efficiency and costs. Skills/Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred. * 4+ years’ job-related experience. * Financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost containment, negotiation, research, project management, managing internal and external relationships. * Success in customer interface and relationship building. * Proficient at Microsoft Office software. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
